I'm stuck in a small town in Ireland. I go to a LGBT group but I'm one of the only gay kids there. I'm a relativly young teen but still. How do I find another gay person :bang::help:
Do this in your head.. when walking down the street - statistically - approx every 1 in 20 people are LGBT. Although difficult to believe it sometimes as everyone looks "normal" on the outside If you socialise more - even if they re 'non-LGBT events/ groups - you will eventually find more and more LGBT people. If you wear a rainbow .. maybe more will find you !! How long do you expect to stay in the small town?? Do you have a plan for university or something?
Since you mentioned you're still a young teen, have you thought about seeing as to whether or not your school has an LGBT+ group? Or is that the group you're referring to? Another thing you could try is asking your friends. You don't have to actually let them know you're gay but you could make general conversation that relates to something gay in your local area, then see what they respond with.
