How many friends do you have?

I know a lot of people, but I'm only sure that 2 of them are my real friends, because they've proved it and we are very close. I'm not sure for the other people, who might count as friends. That's why I voted 2.

 

In 'real life'
This is a hard question to answer, especially in regards to how I define 'friend.' I have quite a few acquaintances I see in class and stuff, and people I'm on good terms with, but not many people I'll regard as really being in my inner circle. Since I've always been a really private person around anyone, I wouldn't define friend in this case as someone who I tell everything and anything to- because that'll really narrow it down way too much. I suppose my closest friends are simply people who I chat happily with, who I hang out with a lot, and there's a mutual support, kindness, and acceptance in general. It's hard to say because I have remarkably different relationships with my closer friends and it depends on the person.

I suppose the answer is maybe 2 or 3 who I regularly see in person, and 2 or 3 long distance friends I still keep in touch with.

I feel like my closest friends are my sisters, especially the youngest of them. We have a good time together, laugh and joke around. I do love my other sisters too, but we don´t share that special connection.

I used to have another 2 friends. One of them moved abroad (we still have contact from time to time) the other distanced herself probably battling her own problems (I admit I didn´t do much to get closer to her, myself)

That said, I am a very introvert person and never talk about myself. People around me usually have no idea what´s going on inside my head. It´s almost like they don´t know me.

So, it would probably be more valid to state that I don´t have any friends. (voted for 0)

 

I guess I'm going to count a friend as someone who makes an effort to see me and who I make an effort to see. That we go out of our way to spend time with. So I guess two.

 

None. I've pretty much been an anxiety riddled hermit for the past 18 months.

 

I have 3 in-person friends and 1 online. I'm closer to one of my in-person friends above the other two though I spent the majority of my time talking with my online friend.

I'd probably define the word 'friend' as someone who's happy to talk to you and is really friendly with you; someone who will be happy meeting up and going places with you, but a really good friend is always there for you whenever you need them, doesn't judge you and looks out for you whenever possible.

 

I'd say 3, one from school and one other in person friend and one online friend. Everyone are always friendly and usually don't mind some small talk, but I'd not call them friends, I can't see myself hanging out with them outside of school.

I find it difficult to make new friends, not very good at making conversation...though it's easier when it's just text. Then I have time to double check or put in another joke before sending, and I know they will get the whole message, because sometimes I talk really quiet and people don't hear me, which is very awkward.

 

I've got tonnes of people who I consider friends because I'm not really one for close, deep relationships, I just have the ability to manage people and deal with everyone. Therefore, I can't rank some people higher than others so everyone's my friend.

 

Like what was previously said, it really depends on what you consider as friends. I like to think of my friend circle like an onion. I have a lot of friends and acquaintances, but I keep the ones that are important close.

I have 1 boyfriend.
I have 1 best friend.
I have 2 close friends.
I have about 5 friends that aren't close to me, but we keep in contact.
And then I have 10+ friend/acquaintances that I'm on good terms with, but we don't keep consistent contact.

 

No 'close friends', but 3 people I class as my friends.

That's a difficult question. I hardly meet with anybody outside from school except for a girl I have a crush on. But I do have a couple of friends I see only at school. Even though I don't spend my free time with them, I consider them as friends because they accept me, I have fun with them, and because we support each other.

 

I'm saying 3 because they are the closest I have. I have more friends but we're not as close.

 

Eh... probably about three. I only have one super close friend, but I have other friends I like and get along with really well.

None. I do have 'friends' to call so but they ain't real friends. For me a friend is someone whom you can be open, be yourself and share your feelings with. That person should be one that you are most candid with and he or she respects you for your opinions. They should support your decisions and correct you when you go wrong. And the most important thing, I guess a friend should always hold your back...

 

I have 4 very close friends, who are my A squad, and then 2 in the B squad who are pretty close but don't quite make the A squad. All together, A and B squad plus one... slightly friend(?) I put 7 people idk.
