Romantic or too Cheesy - need help before tonight!

    So I had a plan to ask my friend out on a date. I made a video with note cards telling of how I struggled with depression and how she's been a light in my life and asking her on a date. I'm planning on sending it to her tonight, but I'm doubting myself. Is that just too cheesy? Don't worry about my feelings - I need honesty :lol:

    well for starters does your friend like girls? and do u think she might like umore than friends
    and joining the video about depression and light to my life may come out a bit ...too much. maybe setlle for telling her inperson that she has been a great friend and that u think u might like her a bit more than just that....but this only if the answer to the first and second questions is yes
    *oh and this is with full regard towards your felling you are a person everyone deserves to be treathed as one :slight_smile:

    Depends on what your relationship is now, I think. If you're already pretty close I think that would be alright... Although I would probably approach it a little differently. The note cards are a really sweet idea, but instead of mentioning how she helped pull you out of depression maybe just focus on how you see her as a light, and really positive things and then maybe the depression thing is something you could tell her in person after. I just think that if I was on the other side of the confession I might be a bit scared if I said no, or pressured not to say no. But otherwise I think it's pretty sweet! Good luck!!^^

    If it were me, I'd think it was super romantic, and you know what? If it expresses how you feel in a way that you want to do, do it. If she melts, then that's awesome. If she doesn't like it, she's obviously not right for you in the first place—not romantically anyway.
