    Does anyone know what I'm talking about? I was actually in a similar position a while back, but I've changed my focus to myself. Can anyone explain why my boyfriend might be acting this way? Quite honestly I have no clue why I was acting this way a while ago as well.

    Yeah, I am fine when I am with my boyfriend but when he is gone I am super needy. I tend to use him as a distraction from issues I'm dealing with and homework so once I get going on that stuff I am not needy anymore. I need a lot of attention.
