I just got my first girlfriend...now what?

    So I just told my best friend I like her, and she likes me back. She's now my girlfriend, but it's going to be a long distance relationship because I just switched schools - we'll be seeing each other once a month, max. So what now? Obviously, I'll FaceTime her and call her and text her and whatnot..but when do I kiss her? I'm seeing her today and then not again until winter break.

    Hello,

    You could always do it for New Year ... and if she doesn't like it/goes wrong, blame it on New Year.

    This is the sort of thing FRIENDS [M. Kauffman, D. Craine, K. Bright] would say, and they're my 'go to' for relationships.
