So the other day I was engaged in one of the dumbest conversations that I have ever had with a friend who was adamant that as I was gay I should be using the Female bathrooms instead of the male ones... I tried to tell him that sexuality ≠ gender but he wouldn't listen. Turns out a lot of the straight guys think this for some reason.

Your thoughts, I mean has anyone ever said this to you regarding your sexuality? Pretty stupid to be honest.

Edit: Not really a question or anything, just wanted to vent...

    Nah.
I've come out to my close friends only and I love them as they have been so accepting and supporting. (&&&)
Well for the guy who asked you to use the female bathroom, ignore him, he's dumb as soup :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

I guess we get to use the "family" or gender non-specific restrooms, huh?

How crazy. People are just ridiculous sometimes, and I wouldn't even say most straight guys think that way, because it simply makes no sense. Ignore the silliness as much as you can, and if it gets to the point of being harassing or bullying, take it to someone who can intervene.
