I have to learn to let go of all the ROMCOM rules I've picked up over the years. For the LGBT community they just don't work or seem very realistic. I see myself freaking out about any potential relationship because it may not be following the same sequence of events straight couples experience. Am I right to let go of those rules or am I looking for a reason to maintain hope while dating?
