I didn't know how to write the title.

My chest isn't flat. It goes out in the center. I know other guys have this. Does this or other abnormal things totally kill sex life or dating at all ?

In my straight life, the girlfriend I had for a while was OK with it, but I'm always it will stop things. Is that crazy?

Anyone with another deformity thing out there have similar concerns?

A few addons. (Can't seen to edit my post)

I am concerned this will stop dating/sex.

Would anyone be freaked out our turned off by my issue?
    Anyone who it wouldn't matter?

    Hey gryf,

We as humans who want to be accepted and desired by everyone can often perceive abnormalities as a barrier to fulfilment, but a simple adjustment of perception can fix this issue for us.

I'll ask you a question that should prompt this: are people who cannot overlook your non-flat chest worth your time? The answer is of course: no!

You shouldn't be worried because believe me there are plenty of people of accepting, compassionate people who will be interested in you. Be confident and proud in who you are and you will draw in many people as long as you are open to them.

    All the best.

    Sek, thanks.
    I appreciate that, a lot.

You're correct. If they can't get past it, I don't need him in my life.

I needed a reality check. I was reading elsewhere on the inter webs that such abnormalities aren' usually a barrier and fit those that it is, they miss out.

With all the hate towards a person's differences I know from news and personal experience, it can be hard to see what's really there.

    Hey,

I have a weird chest deformation too. I'm not sure if it's the same as you are describing, but basically there's a dent in the center. I hate swimming without a shirt because people sometimes ask about it. Once a girl at the pool wanted to know if I needed to see the doctor. I feel you man!

I have a bone/bump in the center of my chest. So far it hasn't hurt my chances.

Runner5 I'm glad to hear that.
Like confusedude, I've been self conscious since, always.
Mine started out as the dent.
    Pectus excavatum. Wikipedia it.
It can push on your heart and stuff, or basically be cosmetic.

Back on main.. I think I needed a confidence booster. Some period another had been unaffecte.

Thanks again for all the responses.

Yeah I think mine is mostly just cosmetic. I few years ago I was having some pain there (probably should've gone to the doctor) but I had heard the solution was a really intensive surgery and so I didn't tell anyone. Thankfully, the pain went away.
