Is this a thing anyone else experiences?

Unfortunately, it has happened with my best friend, which is a shame. I love her to pieces, but when I cut my hair she started to make comments that at first where kind of harmless but eventually got a little too personal for me.

She keeps telling me that her family thinks I'm a boy/ I look like a boy / People probably think you're my boyfriend ect. But then she also keeps "reminding" me that I'm a girl? We went shopping and she said "you know you're not a boy, right?" My mum says this a lot as well :frowning2: Clothes are clothes - I know that!

I'm fully aware that these are things that will continue to happen, so is there any advice on dealing with that? I tend to just nod along and smile, then quickly change the conversation. I'm not out to her yet, though I have hinted.
