I came out to my parents yesterday, and they told me that they didn't care and they still loved me but that they didn't want me to rub it in their faces. What do they mean???? I don't know what to say to this or what to do about it?!
It means they think they aren't homophobic, but actually are still a little irrational. A LOT of people are like this; just give them time. They don't even really know what they meant by it.
