So there's this girl.. I guess we're sort of friends but not very close. I've been very attracted to her before and wanted to kiss/touch her. It's been a few years and still when I think about her my heart twinges and I regret not kissing her ughh. Is this an actual crush or just plain attraction?
Crushing and attraction can go hand in hand, like there is clearly a reason for your crushing. Ask yourself is it physical, emotional etc.? All of them are perfectly fine btw, but the outcome of any relationship can be affected by them of course.
I think it's both physical and emotional. But I'm having trouble with knowing the definition of a crush vs. just attraction. Does it sound like I have a crush tho?
I think attraction is a little more immediate (sometimes it develops after you get to know someone), while crushing is basically going beyond physical attraction to some emotional connection (*I really like and want to get closer to this person*). Crushes can be harmless, but usually they just get deeper and almost stressful if you don't resolve them. So, what are you going to do about this crush? Have you tried getting closer so you are "real" friends?
