I have a crush on a guy that might have a crush on me too

So... I met a guy in an art class and he sits in front of me and during class we make eye contact for a considerable amount of time, also when i'm looking down or somewhere else he stares at me (I do the same) but the thing is, I don't know if he likes guys so I'm not sure what to do because what if a tell him that I have a crush on him and he does not like me back, I don't want to make it unconfirtable for the both.

What should I do
