So over the summer, I have been running with a group of guys who run xc at the college near my house, and we all got along very well. Well, I'm back at my university and the city that I am in is having a carnival kind of thing next weekend, and I want to invite the guy I ran with because I want to get to know him more. I got his phone number on the last day that I ran with the team because I wanted to stay in touch. Is there a way to invite him out that doesn't seem like I'm asking him on a date (because I don't think that he's gay, and honestly I'm not sure if he is even my type yet). My main goal is to become better friends with him. Any advice would be much appreciated.
