I'm going to the upcoming homecoming dance with my boyfriend. Problem is, I've never been to a dance, none the less with a guy. I'm bloody clueless. Advice/tips?

    Hey 3n!

Sounds like it'll be a great time! Assuming you two are already out at school and people know about your relationship, there's nothing to worry about!

Just be yourself, don't drink the punch, and remember to look into his eyes when the slow dance comes~

Good luck! And make sure you let us know what happens!

Honestly, just have a good time. Don't worry on all the specifics, and roll with the punches. Chances are, there are things about your night that won't go perfect, so try your best to laugh them off and focus on the night. Since you two are already dating, talk out your plans beforehand (things like boutineers, restaurants you'll visit, etc.).

If you're worried about how others might react, remember, there are laws that protect you and your boyfriend and give you the right to go to a dance together! I'd suggest you look them up for your state, so you know the jist of things.

You can also learn from my mistakes. Those being, not knowing what on Earth to do in The Cha Cha Slide when they say to "cha cha real smooth".

Thanks! I'm excited, and yes most people know of our relationship.
