Would you get mad or look down on a person if they asked you to hangout through text or phone call instead of in person?
Hey hopelesskid, If you are referring to just asking someone to hang out, then, no, asking that via text, email, a phone call or in person would all be pretty much the same as far as I'm concerned. If you mean actually asking someone out on a date - as the title of your thread implies - that would be a different issue at least for a first date or two. Personally, I would only ask someone out on a first date face-to-face or via a phone call. (Preferably face-to-face.) Just my thoughts.
