I've recently come out as genderfluid to a close group of friends at college, and I'm slowly working on a process of learning how to be ok with being publicly open about my gender identity- however, at the same time, I've come to the conclusion that I'll probably never be able to come out to my family, ever.
I'd really like to do stuff like change my name on facebook and dress more obviously masculine, and I'm kinda terrified of running into my friends whilst I'm out and about with my family, and possibly having to deal with a situation where they call me by my new name, rather than my birth name.
Anyone else had a similar problem of starting to become two separate people, almost?
