So I've been living in Japan for 3 years and haven't lived in my home province in 4. And I'm moving back in a couple of months(!). I'm not great at making friends, so, my question is: How do you make friends (in the community)? Like, where do you go? Do you use apps (like the-ones-that-shall-be-starred)? Do you find one and then just like infiltrate their group? Btw, I'm moving to Toronto, and if you're from Toronto, let's be friends! I don't want to be lonely...:icon_sad:
Cj, what activities outside of work do you enjoy? Whatever they are, as soon as you get back to Toronto, find some social groups tied to your interests. Given how large and diverse Toronto is, my guess is groups exists (both LGBT focus and straight) where you should be able meet like minded people and make friends.
