Traveling to see my gf for the first time, transportation?

    Hello EC! In about 4 months, I will be traveling 3 hours to see my girlfriend for the first time. I have a few options for how to get there. By the time I'm able to meet her, I'll have my license. so I'd be able to drive myself, It's just that I will be a new driver, and I don't know if I would be comfortable going so far. I could take an uber, It's expensive but I can afford it. Are there any more options you guys could think of? All help is appreciated.(!)

    Personally, I wouldn't drive myself. Especially as a new driver. Three hours is a long time to be driving if you're not used to it. Are there any trains/buses that travel between your cities?
