My best friend spends barely any time with me whatsoever. He has this one friend who he spends all his time with no matter what and it's kind of making me sad. I always have to take the initiative if I want to talk to him, because he'll never do that. He'll always ask me to do things then as soon as I've done them he'll scurry off to go play with his other friend. this honestly hurts my feelings as childish as it sounds. In retaliation and in order to not get my heart hurt again, I've started ignoring him. But what should I do?
Honestly, he does not sound like a particularly good friend. My suggestion is that just stop making an initiative and find better friends. If he contacts you feel free to spend time with him if you like but don't bother calling him if he doesn't bother calling you.
