I have my first date with a girl tonight. I am slightly freaking out. I think I'm most scared that we're gonna meet and I'm gonna feel nothing :\ Even though we've been talking for weeeeks and I really like her. Yikes!
First dates are basically a chance to get a sounding for the person in real life (or if you already know them, in a one-on-one setting). As such, it's okay if you find out there's no real chemistry going on. And I'm talking more personality-wise than physical attraction-wise here, incidentally, though that's also an aspect. I've gone on first dates with people who I was very attracted to physically and who I thought I had a lot in common with, only to find out that their personality just didn't mesh with mine after all.
Had soo much fun! Was a looooong first date, haha. Thanks guys soo much! I definitely feel better about my sexuality in a way now.
