How to break-up with someone…

Discussion in 'Family, Friends, and Relationships' started by TheFlamesOfHell, Apr 13, 2013.

  1. Hey everyone, I need some advice on breaking up with somebody. I know that I have to do it face-to-face and that I have to tell the truth to her but I just can't seem to do it. I really love her but my head is so messed up right now!

Basically, I am bisexual but more on the gay side (if that makes sense) and I don't know how to explain to my girlfriend that I am just not feeling right with girls right now. I've never ever had a boyfriend and I think it's messing up my head more because I couldn't cheat on her...

I don't even know if this makes sense but if it does can somebody please give me advice?

How the hell do I tell her this? :bang:

Start with these words (in a secluded and safe place, probably after you've been staring at her for a while and gulping...): "I think I may be bi(sexual)". Best to get to the point; which makes talking about it easier after that is now out of the bag (closet).

I know how you are feeling. I had a boyfriend about a month ago, and deep down I knew that I liked girls. I felt bad for not feeling as committed and 'in love' as he was with me, so I decided to end it early on to save him any pain.

What I did was tell him that I'm not ready for a relationship at this time (I have exams). I would suggest you tell her that you are bisexual, and that you are leaning towards boys- so you aren't lying to her like I did to my ex. This way, she'll trust that you told her the real reason.

    I wish you luck :icon_bigg
