    how do two girls know if we're hanging out as a "date" or as friends? if we're hanging out in bed? watching movies? in the dark? cuddling somewhat? nothing really reads "date" but who the eff knows. with guys its more clearcut; ah, to be young and closeted again.

    Generally you go on a date first, so it's clear that that's the motive....
    That seems to be the easiest way to make it clear..
    Unless you're only looking for something sexual and not lovey.
