Mum Thing I dislike: She overexplains everything Things I like: She's cool around my friends She makes good food She has an American accent
Mum dislike: she wont stop talking even if you try to talk over her like: she is funny she recommends books for me to read she is very accepting (still havent come out tho)
Dislike: She reminds me about EVERYTHING. Brushing my teeth, being prepared for school, even the time She'd pick me up from somewhere. Like: She is SUPER easy going and not strict at all, so she'll let me do most things. (She said that I can has a sip of Champagne when I was 8.
Mom: Dislike: Has no idea what my being bi means and is hoping that by not talking about it it'll just go away Like: Pretty much everything else. She's an amazing, strong, loving person and I would be nowhere near the person I am today without her.
Dad: Dislike: He can be kind of overbearing. Like: He has a twisted sense of humor. He can literally talk to anybody, which I'm pretty envious of. He's great at coming up with low-maintenance, no-fuss solutions for everything.
Mom She's can't relate to a situation unless she's been there, she's unempathetic. She always makes me laugh. She accepts me for who I am. She keeps me on the right track.
Mom: Dislike: She overreacts to so many things! :/ Like #1: She comes up with the best responses to what we see in real life or Tv so quickly and they are so funny! Like #2: She has Twerked for me before. :lol: Like #3: My Mom lets me watch inappropriate shows when I'm too young. For example, I've watched 'Family Guy' since I was 4! :roflmao:
Mum Thing I dislike: She always makes you feel guilty in an argument by saying "It's all my fault because I'm a terrible mother" so you get in a debate over whose fault it was rather than the real issue. Things I like: 1) She once randomly spent two hours sitting at the top of the stairs reading Maya Angelou poetry to me just because... 2) In public debates she often comes up with a really intelligent, insightful comment said in a very calm, sensible way just as everybody else is just shouting and being an idiot - then everybody looks at her really impressed and I'm very proud she's my Mum at those moments. 3) Over the years she's always whole-heartedly and genuinely forgiven me for some really big mistakes. __________________
