According to the book "Rude Britain" the 20 rudest place names in Britain are:

    Cocks, Cornwall

    Minge Lane, Worcestershire, England

    Bell End, Birmingham, England

Twatt, Shetland (note, there is another Twatt in Orkney)

Sandy Balls, a long-established holiday centre in New Forest, Hampshire, England with a name dating back to Henry VIII

Muff (now Eglinton), County Londonderry, Northern Ireland

    Fingringhoe, Essex, England

Back Passage, City of London, an alleyway in the EC1 postal district

    Shitterton, Dorset, England

Slag Lane, Merseyside, a residential street in Haydock, England

Hole of Horcum, North York Moors, England

    Fanny Hands Lane, Lincolnshire, England

    Inchinnan Drive, Renfrewshire, Scotland

    Cockshoot Close, Oxfordshire, England

    Fanny Avenue, Derbyshire, England

    Beaver Close, Surrey, England

    Dick Court, Lanarkshire, Scotland

    Lickfold, West Sussex, England

Rimswell, East Riding of Yorkshire, England

    Spanker Lane, Nether Heage, Derbyshire

    Found that somewhat funny...

When I went to England one time. There was a store called "Cockburn". Did every teenager on the bus I was on laugh? Yes. There were even shouts of "I want to go there!" from some of the girls

Wow, I've never even heard of these.

Imagine telling someone where you live?

    "34... er... Fanny Avenue"

I've always been very amused by the place in Australia called "Tittybong", but these are even better.

Well, here in Uruguay we have a similar thing with math.

sin(θ) is read "seno de theta"... "seno" means "breast" and "theta" sounds the same as "teta" meaning "tit"... so you can imagine.

Considering what "fanny" means here, this is funny.
Considering what I've heard it means in the UK, it's freaking hilarious.

    I must agree.

Now, just know that those places aren't alone. Up in Detroit, there's Big Beaver Avenue, so same idea...
