There's all these "first thoughts about" threads, so we might as well do one of Svalbard. It's located inside the arctic circle and it's largest town is called Longyearbyen. Alright, what do you think?
One of our last hopes if the world faces a "The End Of The World As We Know It" scenario because of the seed bank it has. Pretty awesome. Hope we don't ever need to make a substantial "withdrawal" from the seed bank, though.
Sounds like heaven to me! Random thought, I'd just love to move to Norway in general. Maybe even an island with just 2,000 people on it. Maybe.
Actually, doesn't sound that bad at all. I really don't do well in the heat. Plus, it's probably very peaceful.
Research institutes. Very cold. Very peaceful. Maybe I'll visit Svalbard one day. This thread would have been better as a thread about Norway.
Hard to reach with a ferry, the Northern Lights, bears, dog sledding, marine life, floating pieces of ice to watch.
Well it makes me think of cold then Norway. After Norway it's all Metal and I could go on forever about this. See, I hardly know anything about Svalbard!
