A poem by the EC (add a line)

It makes me really happy and is like my home

 

It is always here when I am in need of a place to roam

 

When everything around me collapses like foam
On a glass of beer left sitting untouched for too long

(I'm aware that I added two lines, no need to point it out. Just thought it would be easier if I provided a new word to rhyme with...)

 

Or on a large sweet herb fuelled bong.

 

And a sense of humour sometimes really quite wrong

 

And there's nothing we can't talk about.

 

everytime i try to post someone gets ahead of me)

Until the day that we come out

 

Then they become this awesome cheerful crowd

 

And it really makes me proud

 

To have found a safe place to be

 

The person that's actually me.

 

And from whence the truth need not flee,
Because it is here that allows one to be free,
Where fear ceases to be, and love grows within thee.

I know, I put three, but I couldn't contain my inner poet!

 

and people try to understand and to see
life through your eyes, without judgement and disdain

 

Life through your eyes, my longed-for life
My self surprised is another self, no pain

 

I wait for your answer
Knowing that time is not much

 

Knowing that your hardships are never too much.

 

Talking to others and getting help and such

 

Though we are often a world apart

 

People can say what's in their heart
