Anyone else here do any knitting/crocheting/felting/spinning? Personally I'm a spinner, and I'm starting to get good at crocheting the yarn I make. I recently made a great unraveled scarf for my grandma. Sometimes I feel kind of alone in liking it, atleast until I go to my monthly spinners meeting. If anyone is curious spinning is making yarn with a spinning wheel or drop spindle. It's lots of fun and it gives you a newfound appreciation for yarn.

Yarn is nice, but I wouldn't say I love it, love is a strong word...

Can you make a fine winter hat?

I can make just about anything that can be made from fabric, including some stuff you probably wouldn't think of.

I've crocheted a few giant blankets for Christmas presents.
I think I like the feeling of giving away something that I laboured a long time on, more than the labour itself though.
