Does anyone play the Guitar or Bass Guitar in a band. I do, I play the bass. Also, just a question should a Bass player be lead vocals too?

I do neither. Although i did do backup vocals once. And the bassist doesnt have too. You find they are backups sometimes but not leads or just simply a bassist lol.

Bassists can also be vocalists, it's not unheard of. Usually they're backup vocalists but they can be lead vocalists too.

I play bass, but I'm not in a band.

i used to play in a band, and i played bass. i could've been the vocalist because the singer definitely sucked haha. but yea Bassist could do vocals. just look at King's X, Slayer, Izegrim, Motorhead,
