Anyone have a strange fear or phobia, something that wouldn't hurt anything or is irrational?
If so post it here :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Now, I know some phobias are kind of personal, so, don't feel obligated to post one if you don't want to.

    I guess I'll start

I have two irrational phobias, one of the woods or "Xylophobia" and a fear of rocking chairs D:

So, what are your weird fears?

Oh wow, I just realized the "e" is missing from the title xd

Hmm it's not weird/uncommon at all but I think it's still irrational: I'm terrified of the ocean. I can admire it from a distance or fly over it in a plane but I am not going to put one toe in the water or go on a boat, no matter how large.

For some reason I hate the sound made by a xylophone, no idea why.

Escalators. It might tie into my fear of heights (and I'm tall, go figure) but these things just absolutely destroy me if I get near them, my whole body just locks up and I start feeling like I'm about to have a panic attack.

Trypophobia. I even hate to write out the word. Although, I wouldn't call it irrational. I know why and where it came from.

I also have a phobia of falling. Not heights. Just falling. If I'm in an airplane, I love to sit by the window because I know I'm secure. But?

Being ridiculed and not being taken seriously when I want to be is probably my primary remaining fear and for some reason more emotionally impactful than getting punched in the face. Sort of sounds like bragging but I've almost died lots of times, mostly for piss-poor reasons. Being myself now that is scary.

I'm afraid of touching things that has ketchup on it (plates, bottles, fork, knife). I get goosebumps and a strong disgust when I touch ketchup. I have no idea why.
