What strange or unusual things do you like but most other people don't?

I, personally, find teleshopping very relaxing. I used to sit for hours in the morning when I was a kid and I woke up early, just watching it.

I enjoy intentionally mispronouncing words. The only annoying thing is a lot of people don't realize I'm being silly on purpose and correct me... :/ Kills the fun...

I'm interested in the macabre. Such as skulls/bones, taxidermy, wet specimens, old medical devices and other oddities, as well as grotesque/morbid art such as Ero-guro manga.
This goes hand in hand with my general fascination with the dark side of life, which is quite evident in my music, fashion and film choices.

I suppose some less strange but still a bit unusual things would probably be

I love winter and cold weather. A lot. I feel very comfortable in it, and despise the summer.
I am mostly nocturnal, I sleep in the day and am awake at night. Unfortunately people are noisy in the house, so I usually get woken up around 12:00-13:00 and sleep at 3:00. But I would like to one day sleep at 6:00 every day.
I just love the night. It's the time I feel most energetic (and when I look my best, for some reason).

So a cold winter night is the best time for me.

I enjoy eating sour citric fruits like lemons and limes, by themselves.

This was gonna be difficult since most people I know we share common interests and I don't really think about what most others I don't know like so ...but Then I thunk about it and most people I know don't like to read other than for school ; they don't really like a lot of my music and in regard to that I really dig the violin . Like on a super weird erotic level. Same with people who play the piano . But the last 2 only one other person knows about so ...

You and I would get along, fairly well, I think.

As for me, I like to watch bad movies. I just find a certain amusement in them. When I'm around people, and we watch these, the conversation is always all over the place, encouraged, and adds to the experience. You can't really do that with a good movie, because you're expected to be quiet, so everybody can watch and listen. Strangely, when watching a good movie with others, I feel more isolated than if I was watching by myself.

I enjoy studying serial killers and world leaders, almost to the level of obsession. I don't know whether it's just to 'be prepared', or if there is tidbits of wisdom to pick up. I find those who walk on the dark side to be fascinating, because they either lack something or have something, that allows them to disregard others. While I don't think murder or oppression are things to praise, the fact individuals can even get to that point, and carry them out, intrigues me.

I will play various board games with myself, sometimes, just to sort of 'out think myself', like Risk or Chess.

    Lots of weird things.
Pens. Making up my own words. I have an obsession with names.
And that's not even starting on my adoration of odd little things, like a pocket tape measure.
And then we get into the super weird stuff like finding all my teachers on facebook and finding out everybody's middle/siblings' names.

-Cold weather, and snow. Lots of snow. The more, the better.
-Pinball Machines. I like playing pinball 10 times more than video games
-The scent of skunks. (well, not right up close and on me, but I like it in the woods, off in the distance
-That scent sycamore trees give off when it rains
-Dressing up in my latex pup-suit, and playing with my mate. Yip!
-Collecting records, nice turntables, tube audio equipment

I like unusual people. They keep things interesting and colorful. Heck, I consider myself one of those unusual people. (!)

As silly as it is to admit, I also like and support freeganism. Some people may probably find the idea disgusting having to dig through garbage for food and whatnot but personally, I just think so much like a cheapskate. I rather save my money for trips all over the world and for when I have a family of my own.

I also tend to be fascinated by these sorts of things. There's an antique store here I just went to that specializes in this sort of thing. They even had this odd Victorian era coffin, which was cast metal, with a small window where the face would be...quite creepy! But I like such oddities, as well.

Really? I wish we had that kind of store here.

We have antique stores, but they don't specialise in oddities and such.

It's odd, but there have been a few of them like that, here. I think part of it has to do with Johns Hopkins being here, as a very early Medical School, so maybe that creates some interest in collecting certain things. It's definitely a niche...I think there might be a similar store up in Philadelphia. But there's definitely places out there!

My taste in music could be considered odd. My Pandora goes from Disney to Shinedown to Lilly Allens to The Megas. I too enjoy watching terrible movies with friends, but even more so I enjoy playing terrible video games with friends. The original ABC's WipeOut game on the Wii is a regular choice when friends come over, and every so often my one friend and I will get together for some intense Sonic '06 action! I will also echo Kaiser and Ningyo's statements. Cold winter nights are the best, and if I didn't have school, I'd probably never see the sun.

I love the sound of the dishwasher, it makes me sleepy and calm.

I also find adverts and teleshopping relaxing, excluding the Dogs Trust or RSPCA ones which make me cry.

Cheese and onion crisps, one end dipped in ketchup, the other in mayonnaise. Try it. I dare you.

Whenever I feel like I need to drain myself emotionally I sit at the piano and improvise a-la-late-Scriabin, I love the creepiness of it. When I finish I end up really tired and usually go to sleep.

"Strange"? Depends on your definition. To me, "strange" is normal......everybody else on the planet are the freaks.

Well, I am from "The South", one thing some people find gross is a peanutbutter and banana sandwich. Especially if you put tater chips on it too!

I put tater chips in and on about everything I eat. Well, I used too. Cant do it so much anymore.

I like BBQ sauce more than I like using Ranch Dressing for stuff, other than salad.

People find it LOL kind of funny-weird that Im an older guy and I like dance music, especially different forms of trance music. I dont see whats so funny about that.
