I used to ask my brother all sorts of stupid "what if" questions when we were younger. It drove him crazy. Now I'll bring it over here... So the game is fairly straight forward: answer the last what if question and then come up with your own. I'll start with a cliche question: What if you woke up as a child and realized the last 15-25 years of your life have all been a weird/vivid dream?!
I would probably have tried to not do so many things the hard way. I would come out, transition and try and be myself sooner. So much time spent hiding and alone ... What if you could travel to other dimensions?
I would feel we were THAT much closer to discovering the secret behind life.... WHAT IFFF... we all saw colours differently, and nobody knows. For example, we all see the same spectrum of colours, from the same wavelength (400-700nm). And they all relate in the same way, but what I experience as red, orange, yellow, green etc ... somebody else sees as "purple, blue, green, yellow".... BUT they CALL it "red, orange, yellow and green" as that is the way people have refereed to it from the time of their birth. Dun dun dunnnnnn....
Then there would be even MORE wars than we have now.......called The Color Wars... Thanks for that! WHAT IF.... I was really omnipotent and ruled the world?
What if like... Dreams were visions into our parallel selves like.. Say what we're doing right now like me posting in this thread is what they're dreaming and as we dream we see what they do. I don't know I'm just really interested in the paranormal.
Then I'd say that I have too many stalkers for comfort ;D What if people stopped making snap judgments based on the media, and actually researched the issues they're concerned about? What then?
The world would be a much better place; there would be less ignorance. What if robots were invented that looked and acted just like human beings..
Then many people would probably be a lot less lonely. What if everyone had to have major plastic surgery once a year?
Then the world as we know it would change, technology might get set back! What if we could live on mars?
