I thought long about where to put this thread and decided this is probably best, if not please just move it!

I'm really curious, and I love animals. What kinds do you have and what are their names, do you have some kind of fun story to share about any of them or one you've had?

    I'll start :3

Ferrets: Hermione, Ezmeralda, Ted, Lily and Robin
    Bunnies: Ohron, Flash, Spike
Cats: Morris, Kuro, Mimmi (last is a stray cat that hangs around our house every day)
    Chinchillas: Raichu, Pachirisu

My childhood horse that was a shetland pony used to put both his front hooves over his box door and steal candy out of your pockets, he was a funny little guy.

A fellow ferret owner, yay! And axolotls are so cute, though I have to admit I had to google it because I didn't know the name.

I'm so sorry! These are my firsts ferrets and I haven't lost anyone yet. Starting to worry as Hermione is starting to get older but you can't live just waiting for that.
You just have to spend time with them like every day is the last and that I do :3

    -Cats: Pewter and Pepper
-Fish: ...To be honest, they don't have names. But there are 8 of them, and possibly more, since they have bred in the past and the fry are extremely hard to see.

Also, I have to say, I'm surprised to see at least two ferret owners so far, since it's illegal to own ferrets as pets in California, unfortunately, and I thought it was illegal in most other places as well, inside the US and out.

But anyway. I have 2 cats, Evey and Socks. They're not really mine though... if it were up to me it would be 2 dogs.

It's actually completely legal to own ferrets in Illinois (My state), with or without a permit. But breeding them is illegal without a permit.

Ferrets are actually not that uncommon as a pet.

I have no pets of my own as I'm usually working away.
I do look after a friends animals when I'm back so my friend can have a break.
They have four dogs, numerous poultry, rabbits etc.
I have the odd house spider running round my home and wild birds outside that come quite close for me to feed them at arms length.
