When you're feeling down what songs make you feel better? For me its Miracle in a Costume by 360
Bad Blood by Neil Sedaka. There's just something about the flute instrumentals and the 70's cheese about all of it that makes it impossible for me not to sing and boogie along to it. Just look at the dude's swagger in this video. Tell me it didn't make you smile.
I just reaslied that I totally forgot about Lana. Check out this song https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H53q4K3D9V0
Oh boy. Right now I really like Identity by August Burns Red. Coming out is a definant theme in the song. A lot of the angsty metalcore and post-hardcore is fun. But there is nothing like a grown man screaming into a microphone about death and Satan, oh death metal, my best friend.
Basically anything by Three Days Grace, Shinedown, Thirty Seconds to Mars, or Issues haha. I relate and having something there that I can relate to means I'm not the only one in pain.
Oh gods, I have loads. Mainly from anime op's and ed's... Fusen Gum, the first ED from Gintama: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=oRzyZdU_rI4 Tooi Nioi, the second OP from Gintama: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=SnJ5Xnw4Wkk Those are my two 'go to' songs, but I have loads of others. I love Gintama and I probably would of gone crazy without it, so these songs have a special meaning to me. Now I wanna rewatch Gintama...
Any remixed song. Current mix is New Electro and house mix 2015 Best of party mashup, bootleg, remix dance mix.
Neil Sedaka was pretty popular back then and my favorite is "Laughter in the rain" but you are right it brings back memories riding in one of my parents cars listening to the radio or 8-track deck watching the world go by so happy and at peace. Today's cars suck for that kind of riding and enjoying the scenery. Too small and crammed in a bucket seat feeling every bump is not the same as a five thousand pound Mercury wagon (before seat belt laws) windows all around and a big back seat with tons of legroom or the way back with it's facing double fold out seats by the rear speakers was just glorious to float along and see America hearing music like this. My mom was a real trooper as if it rained hard enough to make puddles she would thrill us kids by flooring the pedal making it's big block scream and water fly in every direction! So yes I too feel so happy when I hear that song too! June
