I've always felt like I belonged in either Hufflepuff or Gryffindor, leaning more towards Hufflepuff. Everyone I know (except for one) immediately says I'm Hufflepuff, then I take the Sorting Hat quiz at Pottermore, and it says Slytherin.

I'm like that's weird, well maybe it's bc deep down I am Slytherin but choose the values of Hufflepuff, then I took it again, making sure to align my answers with my behavior, not instincts, as Dumbledore says, it's the actions that make the person, not the capabilities.
    SLYTHERIN. TWICE.

    WHAT EVEN

Haha xD I've always felt Ravenclaw but whenever I take the quiz it says I'm Hufflepuff. The first few times I took the quiz it said I was Ravenclaw but every other time it said I'm Hufflepuff...what? meh I just tell people I'm Ravenclaw anyway xD

    I'm also a Ravenclaw in heart.
The quiz always says I'm a Gryffindor though -.-

    *Danger: entering obsession zone*

When I took the test, I scored Slytherin. This was interesting and actually quite accurate.

My brother swears up and down that I'm a true-blue Ravenclaw (but then again he wouldn't want me to be Slytherin since he's Gryffindor).

So I took the test again, and again. Then I found a test which combines all possible questions from Pottermore (because they give you different questions sometimes if you take it again) for the most accurate result. Once it said Ravenclaw once it said Slytherin.

Then, in my usual way, I analyzed the Pottermore testing method and combined it with MBTI to find out that I - most accurately and probably, would be Ravenclaw (approximately 55% to 45% in favor of Ravenclaw) though it's still extremely close.

HOWEVER, the Sorting Hat also takes into account what house you want to be in and this could tip the balance. I would rather be in Slytherin, definitely. Therefore I am a Slytherin.

Ultimately it's up to you. There's a good chance you'r a mixture of both though a majority of one. Take a look into the motivations/personalities/themes behind either House and figure which one you align more with. If you're disappointed with your resulting placement, there's a good chance you don't belong in that House. Just saying.

Always have been a Hufflepuff ever since. I feel like, if I were in Hogwarts, I wouldnt stand a day in any of the other 3 houses. I feel like I am made to be in the Hufflepuff House. So queermeerkat, dont fight it! Let the cursevalues of Hufflepuff get into you

When ever I take those tests, I always get either Gryffindor or Hufflepuff. I'd love to be in Ravenclaw (blue's my favourite colour too). I think personality wise, Hufflepuff does suit me best.

I don't really know a lot about Harry Potter, but I know the basics... so I can only go from that limited knowledge and what others say.

I tend to score Slytherin. Folks say I could be Ravenclaw, but it's always very close to Gryffindor when I score Slytherin. No idea about Hufflepuff...

I took the test 13 times. I got Hufflepuff 3 times, Gryffindor 3 times, Slytherin 3 times and Ravenclaw 4 times. I guess I have access to all the dorms then.

I know that since I took the wand test quite a lot has changed so I probably need to take it again to get a more accurate result.

Maybe I'm taking this too seriously here. (!)

I usually score the same for Gryffindor and Slytherin. I don't really know what to make of that. They seem like opposites to me.

Thus, the flaw of a system that divide something as complex as people into stereotypical categories. It is a wonder how they managed to keep doing that for as long as they did.

I always get Slytherin (most of the time) or Ravenclaw on these.

When I first took the Pottermore test, I found out all the questions and outcomes of the answers by making my friends take it and watching what they put, in order to make sure I came out as Gryffindor.

    That's when I realised I was a Slytherin. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

I'm Slytherin, too, but I've always known that. :sunglasses: I'd fit in Ravenclaw pretty well, too, though.

Same here. I tried to correlate Pottermore's Sorting Hate criteria with MBTI and even astrology but I wasn't able to find an appropriate answer. So I stuck with Slytherin, because I always felt dissatisfied with Gryffindor and Ravenclaw. Never even considered being a Hufflepuff.

I still wonder, though, what would the Sorting Hat do with me if it really existed.

IF? I believe someone may have misspoke *clears throat*

Anyhoo, I now embrace my slythering side, after all it does fit my superiority complex quite nicely.

I took the test, and the Sorting Hat put me in Slytherin. ^_^
That would probably be my first choice anyway, so I'm happy.

The weird thing is when I was taking the test, all of the questions where I had trouble deciding which answer to choose, only one of the answers I was considering would actually work and allow me to continue. o_0

Lol, I guess the sorting hat really does know where you truly belong. ^_~

Hufflepuff through and through! A lot of my friends are Ravenclaws but some of them are Hufflepuffs. I don't think any of them are Slytherins or Gryffindors.
