Lets say hypothetically you had to get a tattoo but you were allowed to choose it, what would it be? Post a picture or description of the tattoo of your choice.
The emblem in my avatar, to start with. It's simple and not too detailed (and to me it means a lot), for this guy who has yet to get his first tattoo. I've got a few in mind, but best to start simple so I know if I want to get more after that.
If it wasnt for internship, I could have gotten this one tattooed to my chest already I also like to have an arm sleeve tattoo similar to this design.
The quote "We stopped looking for monsters under our beds when we realized they were in our heads" in an eternity sign, perhaps. A tramp stamp. Not too large, but large enough to read without squinting.
A bold, black cross (minimalist design) on my back. Down the spine and across the shoulder blades. Also, I'd like my left arm to have an arrow much like Aang's in Avatar: the last airbender. Especially if I could get it done in UV ink (though, I'd settle for black). I might want some chest tattoos too, after I get top surgery, to cover the scars.
So I only ever would want two. 1. Embrace The Madness along my left side arm. 2. A devil and angle wing on my back. Nothing huge like some, but really small right below the neck. -Something kind of like that
This is going to make me seem like a huge patriot... Spoiler The Canadian coat of arms. It's would be less about nationalism and pride for my country, but more about what it stands for. Canada stands for diversity and equality, for appreciation of wildlife and nature (ironic with the oilsands, I know), and of course, for the amazing people which inhabit it. Despite everyone being spread out across such a huge landmass, being canadian forges this huge sense of unity, and I wouldn't mind carrying some of that with me throughout my travels in life. Also, our coat of arms is just plain badass.
I would like maybe somehow two things that blend into one. My mind likes duality, but is set on unity... like maybe one arrow pointing to the right inward toward another arrow and then one pointing to the left inward toward the other arrow, and in the middle another arrow, pointing upward... or something like that... Otherwise maybe a small third eye on my hand. Or Yin on my left hand and Yang on the right, so that they match when you put your palms together. Or just a Chinese character, a kanji, e.g. the kanji for 'love':
