People really are complicated, huh? Did you notice how, in between all the bullshit they gave their kid, the parents (at least the mom) honestly were doing it because they cared about him? Not in the right ways and not for the right reasons and obviously, not to a sufficient amount but, nevertheless, it's a good explanation of why coming out is such an awful pain in the ass sometimes. The truly destructive power of homophobia isn't the outright hatred or violence, as many of us might imagine, but confusing situations such as this, where the pain is caused by your own parents who claim to love and support you at the same time. It gives the victim emotional and psychological damage over time, severe enough that alot of us never made it out of that place... but this guy did, and he even became successful enough to share his story with others who are there right now. Hey, that's pretty inspiring~
I loved it! It was amazing! Wow, I have no other adjectives. But yeah, the story was great, graphics were great, I just loved the feel of it! I loved it as a whole! Beautiful!
That was a rough game to play, but I don't regret it. I know I'd read about it before. For some reason I didn't take the time to track it down.
I played that a while back (there's another thread on it). Just replayed it and got ounched in the face... I get some strange satisfaction from failing... I almost feel guilty...
I didn't know you could fail at this game, not sure which option you picked but thankfully I didn't get punched in the face. I made someone throw up though. Anyways, it was a really good game and it was also quite touching with its' bitter-sweet ending.
I enjoyed that game a little too much (If only real-life was that easy). I'll definitely be playing it again! Thanks for sharing
AMAZING game. I played this a while back but it was great to play again. Though it's really sad it's just a little bit funny when the mom throws up xD
