So I haven't seen a thread anywhere along the lines of this concept, so I thought it'd make a great forum game! Basically you find a random book, flip to a random page, and the first line's supposed to tell you something important about yourself. I've heard of many versions of this, a few of you guys might know about what I'm talking about because it was really popular on a couple of other websites *cough* Tumblr. So since this forum is PG-13, we're just going say that whatever is the first line of page 272 is the backstory to how your really had your first kiss. POST-AWAY!!!! My first book says: That I had my first kiss pointing at some rare rose winding its neck up onto the porch (The Help).
"Gideon would never go back to work for Lord Luxon, would he?" (Gideon the Cutpurse) Guess I went back to work with Lord Luxon?
‘I know it is not an easy decision. That is why I want both of you to think about it carefully and come back to me in seventy-two hours. That’s three full days.’ - The Accidental Apprentice :roflmao: That can mean something really silly or something really mature lol!
"I am struggling, trying to read a story written in a language I don't quite speak" -Page 177 "Picture me gone" by Meg Rosoff. Also page 155 starts with: (of the same book) "I don't know,Perguntadora. Honestly, I don't. He kisses the top of my head, stokes my hair. I pull back". Which could sound rather umm...inappropriate taken out of context...and possibly slightly creepy in this case.
"That's it?" I shouted at the empty air, "You take his soul and leave? I hate you!" :roflmao: By the way, that's from The Serpent's Shadow, the third book in the Kane Chronicles by Rick Riordan.
Alright, I grabbed Christopher Moore's Fool. Random page: 263. "'Tosser!' cried the raven." Pg. 272: "'And the poison?'" What.
