The flavor of "blue raspberry" is absolutely disgusting. Why does it exist, why???????? Please express your distaste to make me feel accepted or tell me about your appreciation of the artificial abomination in order to help me understand.
>_> Blue raspberry is the only raspberry I like. How dare you dislike it... What I can't stand is watermelon candy because it gives me intense physical headaches... Mom says I might be allergic to Red dye N.40...
I tend to like it, cherry, and strawberry. Though there's plenty of snacks that can't pull off any of those. If we're talking about strange flavors however...
Nope, I love blue raspberry. Those are actually pretty good. I don't think real life chicken and waffles would go well together at all but those chips were pretty good.
'M-'M-'M-'Murica! The day the TTIP comes into action and we get this on our shelves here, I'm getting out of here.
Meet castoreum, a substance secreted from the anal glands of a beaver. This is where we get artificial flavours such as vanilla, strawberry, and blue raspberry. So basically, beaver butt juice. Despite this, I can admit to having pregnancy-like cravings for all things strawberry (artificial included). Blue raspberry is good too, but a lesser cousin, in my opinion.
I will never look at life the same way again. Now, looking at the poll I can see my opinion is an unpopular one, BUT let me explain. I've never eaten blue raspberry, and I don't think I ever want to. I remember I visited this shop that was selling ice cream and they were selling this flavour, and the whole shop stank of the stuff. The smell was unpleasant to me, and it reminded me of that overly-artificial type fruit gum that people chew- and that sound, the one that people make when they're chewing gum right in your face and they're talking to you at the same time and you can just see the gum swirling around in their mouth. *shudder* I HATE the sound of people chewing gum, and I hate the smell too. It just...doesn't sit well with me at all. It makes me feel nauseous. The smell to me is so artificially strong and overwhelming, that I don't think I could bring myself to eat such a thing. After all, your smell is somewhat connected to your taste- at least, that's what I've heard. I tend to dislike artificial things in general, and tend to stay away from such things if possible. My family can be quite health conscious, and well...food snobs. Cooking in our family is something that's been passed down- we have a load of old (really old) cookbooks and their age certainly shows in terms of the terminology they use. I don't really understand why people like such artificial food, especially those that can afford much better quality produce. I think my mother would have a heart attack at the idea of me eating such a thing. Why would you make raspberry ice cream blue? And not only that, why would you make it bright blue? But, to each their own I guess.
