For instance, here's my flag: The purple represents my sadness because that was my favorite color when I was little and my childhood was often sad for me. The red represents my passion and anger because when I was younger I had anger-management problems and that was something that really hurt me and made life harder for me. The yellow represents me because my favorite color is yellow and no matter what I did to make the yellow fit in and look nice with the other colors...it always just stuck out and looked ugly. The blue represents my boy side. It's very small in the flag because I don't often get to show my boy side. The green represents my feeling of being different because everyone in my family has the favorite color green except me. And everyone in my family is straight and cisgender except me.
