    Twelve tabs right now. At the beginning of the day I'll open a number of news or other articles and work my way through them, so that I can avoid just tunnelling through esoteric links.

    It really irritates me to have tabs open that I'm not currently using. So I tend to close them immediately after they have been properly perused.

    In answer, the most I have open at any given time is 5, but that is only when I'm researching something and flipping between sources. Otherwise I only have 1 open.

    I don't do tabs, infact I found something to disable that "feature" in FireFox
    So instead I have multiple browser windows.

    On the computer I'm posting this from:
    *2 FireFox windows
    *also have 3 separate e-mail programs
    *a couple non-internet things

    On a 2nd computer:
    *3 FireFox windows
    *3 Pale Moon windows
    *1 IceDragon window
    (Pale Moon & IceDragon are offshoots of FireFox)
