In what time and place would you like to live

    Sometimes I like the idea of western cowboy America but I know thats just because of the movies. Farming life and riding your horse from one to the other....

    But I know it isnt nice at all and pretty hardcore, times way back are hardcore as it is already.

    On the other hand the dynasty in ancient China, but then I have to be highborn, no way lifes good if you are not (Assuming that right now)

    So what do you think?

    Ooh interesting question; I've thought about this a lot actually xD

    It's probably a bit romanticised, but I've always loved the idea of Medieval life - a la Arthurian era. Castles and knights and ladies in waiting and such.

    On the opposite side, I have wondered what it would be like to grow up in a city. Having grown up in a tiny, sparsely populated area, sometimes I dream about living in Tokyo or New York. Neon lights and bullet trains. Futuristic stuff. In reality I'd never be able to cope with the crowds, but it's nice to dream!

    Your points bring up the fact that it really does depend on your status. Even someone choosing to live now would rather stay in the first-world I'm sure. And then there's mass-epidemics and raging dictators to take into account...complicated stuff when you get down to it!

    Isolation period or modern Japan. Britain in the mid-1800s to early-1900s. Or of course a few hundred years into the future.

    I dont want the future (black mirror) and I do at the same time..hmmm..... Love black mirror for it (tv show, recommend it ! Makes you think about the dark side of technology)

    @Sketchy yeah I could blabber about why not and why yes all day sometimes : P I like medieval times also, but I would Jean d'arc the whole way trough it ! Swords are so heavy...chainmail...

    @PianoKeys: It sounds pretty interesting actually :grin:

    @Mahidevran: He is. He's pretty active on instagram (last upload 1h ago) and the latest pictures of him aren't that bad. Also there's new merch (selled over some official 'market' since nobody is dumb enough to just buy stuff from Nero) and rumours about a new album (or at least a 'reissue'´). But honestly, it's Nero you never know what's really going on..
