I like mostly rock, Jazz, Classical instrumental, blues (damn good break-up songs), and my media player says "alternative" as well.

According to last.fm, my favourite bands/singers are: Yuki Kajiura, Muse, Alan, Enigma, Yiruma, Xandria, Lifehouse, Lostprophets. Basically, I listen to eberything. Even rap/hip hop sometimes, when I'm in the mood for a music like that. But mostly I enjoy rock music.
Mostly rock music and all of its sub-genres (alternative/metal/hardcore/screamo/etc.etc.etc.). Anything with a good voice and loud guitars? I'm there. I also love classical/opera, techno/trance (and it's many divisions), psychobilly, jazz, old country (like Johnny Cash)...and so on. Basically anything that's not country or hip-hop/rap (though I will listen to certain kinds of hip-hop...it has to catch my attention though, and most of it doesn't.
