There's a thread like this on another site I go on, and since there was a sims thread here, I'm going to see if this kind of thread works here, too So yeah! Who plays the sims? We had a thread like this a little while ago. I LOVE the Sims xD . I mainly love building the houses and then creating couples to manage and see age, and all that good stuff . Amazing game ^^
Noooo not yet. I don't have $50 to spare right now. D: But it's the Sims, which means I will eventually buy a copy, because... Because it's the freakin' Sims, c'mon!
I'm not interested in Sims 3 right now and don't know if I will be in the future. I really don't like the idea that everyone in the neighbourhood ages along with the family you're playing, and my computer isn't up to it anyway. Maybe I'll give it a try someday, but for now I'm perfectly happy with Sims 2.
Awww they do? That's kind of lame. I'm an uber control freak about Sims aging. I don't like them dying on me. >:/ I wonder if that's optional?
I think some people have issues. do you not think you're so addicted to games like The Sims as you don't want to live your own life? people who play on WOW also, in mediation it's fine. But people who overplay have serious problems.
Heh, I'm too busy to have a game take over my life. I've got things to do. I agree, a game shouldn't be a high priority for anybody, but it's still an amusing way to kill stress every once in a while. So long as you keep your actual life goals in sight, and games don't distract you from them? It's all good. I do know more gaming addicts than I do alcoholics, though. Some of them are both. =/ Though I think just being excited about the Sims doesn't mean you're an addict, hehe. People are excited because it's shiny and new, the novelty will eventually wear off and life will go on!
Uh yeah, I'm not THAT obsessed that I don't have a life :'D I'm just really, really excited for this new game to come out.
I'm guilty of being a Sims fan. I doubt I'll have any money when June 2 comes around, but I'll see what happens. Until I get enough, I'll be happy with Sims 2.
