I love finding out about people, especially that of my age. I was just wondering what everyone here thinks they want to do with their lives in terms of a career or means of employment  .

Also, if this thread has been made, by all means lock this. I did a search in both the "Chit Chat" and "Fun & Games" sections for "jobs" and "careers".

I'm aiming at becoming a clinical psychologist.

Sociology. There are many areas that I find interesting, but there's still a long way to go before I have to decide what I want to especialize in.

I'm either going to be an art teacher, or go to graduate school for video game design (specifically the art part of it).

Both involve art! Otherwise they have not much to do with each other. =P

I would LOVE to be an actor, but for practical purposes, I'm going to be a clinical psychologist.

I'm aiming at being a comedian now, but I'm not sure where I'll end up.

I also want to be a videogame programmer, although I have several Plan B-Z options, such as psychologist, doctor, maybe psychiatrist if I can ever get my own act together. On the side I also wish to possibly do some community service related to LGBT (I'unno, maybe help out some kids who've been kicked out of their homes after coming out.).

I haven't decided whether it will be at a local or federal level. I am double majoring in Criminal Justice and Psychology and if I decide to get a graduate degree in Psychology I will go for the F.B.I.

My future career? I'm getting ready to study theatre. I want to be in film. It's been my dream ever since I was a little boy. I'm currently studying in the Web Design field as my backup solution, but will be leaving it and attending college for theatre in January.

Engineer; I plan to study Engineering Science at Oxbridge (preferably Oxford) ^__^ The world needs more engineers, and female ones doubly so  Oh worth noting that my third year will take me to Princeton if I take the course at Oxford, and Massachusetts (I think) if I do it at Cambridge, so I might just end up seeing a couple of you guys

A great route to take is to get a few years experience as a police officer on the road to develop that street sense that you can't get any other way besides doing it. Running calls gives you so much contact with the public, as well as with bad guys, that you quickly develop that sixth sense. You can then apply to the FBI and go in with skills that many agents don't gain because they were never on the road.

For the most part, that is actually my plan. The F.B.I. doesn't hire if you are older than 35 because they have a mandatory retirement age for agents. So I was thinking I would get my double major, work the streets, then go to school part time for my master's degree, and then apply to the F.B.I before I age out.

I originally wanted to do US politics, because I have an immense amount of love for what this country could be, but I have realised that, compared to the UK, America is pretty damn immature.
    So, I'm thinking UK.
