So lately I've been in a super down mood and things weren't going so well and I was on youtube and I came across a song that just totally changed my mood and inspired me to keep going. What songs make you happy and help you when things get tough? :icon_bigg

Good song. Lacey is amazing. <3

My happy song is probably Lean On Me by Group 1 Crew. It makes me smile every time I hear it.

I LOVE Metric, like I'm obsessed. Gimme Sympathy always makes me feel really mellow and happy.

This might not be a particularly happy song, but whenever I'm in a good mood, it makes me feel even better like no song I know. I think it's because lyrics are the last thing I listen to in a song, and the beat and rhythm of the song makes me happy.

This one, too, and it's actually a happy song.

And because I have no taste in music and am not ashamed about that fact:

...I think I have been using facebook too much. It's official. I just saw some songs that I agreed with and looked for the like button to click.

Anyway...I've Got A Feeling and Firework are both up there on my list of songs that cheer me up too!

This is not exactly my happy song, that's not the one that would put me in a good mood, but that's my "go to song" so to speak when things are getting difficult and that I feel I need to feel close to a special someone.

For some reason I can't get the link up, but mine is "All Things Must Pass" by George Harrison. Easily one of the most beautiful songs ever written. I suggest looking it up. It's by a Beatle, so you know its good!

Either "Something" by the Beatles or "Brown Sugar" by the Rolling Stones... rock n' roll always seems to help me pick myself back up and try again.

It's like standing in snow wearing a swimsuit and then suddenly being pulled into this big, warm hug and given hot cocoa and a fluffy coat.
