I saw this a while ago, it is awesome, and wish I could do this without getting in trouble. I would get Dish Networks offers almost weekly on my state cell phone.
LOL.. the ones here are soooo annoying they wont hang up.. and u cant hang up unless they do it think, they keep asking why u dotn want it.. -.-
My partner pretends they've called a gay sex line.I however prefer to tell them I need to consult my family, put the phone down and pick it up every 5 min or so and tell em we're still consulting
If I get one that just keeps taking I put the phone down and let them talk to themselves until they realise I've gone. In a previous job I had one who was on the line talking for about 20 minutes! Otherwise I ask them to tell me their name, the company name, address and telephone number. At that point they usually hang up.
if i ever get th tell em 2 piss off and hang up, then when they call back it gets more obscene every time =P it seems 2 work tho,i get like hardly any repeat offenders lol
I like to treat telemarketers like they're my friends. "So, what's your name again? Oh, yeah, right, Bill. Yeah, so you see that 300 movie yet? Any good?" Then they hang up. My father likes handing the phone to the most talkative person around or else making weird noises on the phone. It's amusing and promises a quick hang-up.
ahaha! well, i had a friend who, when they asked to talk to her parents, she said they were dead and started crying. they sent her a gift basket. lmao
