    Ok, got attention?

On many of the fun and games threads we have a reoccurring theme, we like chocolate oh yeah...and other foods...and we keep making ourselves both horny and hungry.

So, if you want to, we can post pix of most tempting food, or offer our recipes.
Then somebody can maybe tempt a prospective lover by making some and let us know how it went.

    Just an idea...

awww! from scratch is hardest, rarely done.
for anybody who is scared to try it, but wants to bake a cake, i found a trick or two: use NOT Betty Crocker types, get organic boxed, it tastes closer to real cake; pour it into a sifter (ask mom/grandmother if you don't know what it is) and sift at least once if not twice. Why? cuz mix settles, and sifting mixes and lightens with air, and these two things alone will make a cake you bake taste great!

I am going to offer up wasabi prawns as an interesting food item I have had several times. They. Are. Amazing. Basically they are normal prawns cooked oriental style in a wasabi sauce which makes them quite tangy and a little bit hot.

I won't post a pic because they mostly look like normal prawns in sauce, but google it if you feel like it.

Lemon Meringue pies are like my signature dish! It's one reason my sister wants me to live closer to her.

My neice likes Grasshopper Pies. When I was little, I used to catch grasshoppers in the backyard so my mom could make these! I can't find any grasshoppers nowdays, so I make Cricket Pies- still taste great, though! ^_^

And for the record, I do it all from scratch. Including grating lemon zest by hand, whipping the whipping cream with a beater (don't do it by hand, trust me! It's beyond exhausting!)

These aren't my pies though, just examples.

My grandmother made the lemon meringue. I never have. I eat the lemon pudding still warm before the white eggy stuff gets on it.

I have not had it for about a decade. :frowning2:

I totes does that! I'll pour the filling into the crust, put on the meringue, oven it, and while I wait I clean the rest of the filling out of the pan. Sooo good!

oooooooh! They used paste colors I see. More depth.
Simple and white looks good, and all colors are inside pure white light. So it is a spectrum cake.
You will need a larger cake for your wedding. This is too small.

I love that cake! I don't really do anything special for my birthday any more except have a few drinks or something the like, but I may just celebrate this year cuz I'd love to have a cake like that for my birthday.
