You happen to find this water source in the forest, and you happen to fall in. Luckily, you knew how to swim and manage to get out. You see yourself changed into the opposite sex. Later on, you find out that you change into the opposite sex when drenched in cold water and you can change back when struck by hot water. How do you think life will be on a day to day basis? Yes, I totally got this idea from the anime Ramna 1/2. If you haven't heard of it, It's about a boy and father falling in several cursed ponds. His father transforms into a panda when he fell into a pond where a panda drowned. The boy transforms into a girl when he fell into a pond where a girl drowned. It's not as dark as it sounds, I think but I only seen the first episode, but so far it's a funny anime about a father and his son/daughter. I'm not sure if they go into that pond backstory though since I only seen the first episode.
I'd probably take a hot bath right away so I could turn back into a boy. Girls are waaaay to complex for me.
It'd sure be hard to stay away from hot water, considering I would like to physically be female... Although I like hot tubs, hot baths, hot showers. That'd make it difficult, but I guess I could take cold showers all the time

I'd set up shop and sell that water for a living. I'm sure that there are plenty of people who would want a quick and painless sex change... or ten.
I would move somewhere cold, where no warm water ever occurs. And by the ocean so I always have cold water handy. Cold showers for good.
I'd allow myself to be a boy around some of my family, but be a girl whenever I'm alone... I might be a little genderfluid, so this would be totally rhombus.

It'd be awkward if you're swimming in a lake as a guy and then the water changes temperature, you grow boobs and they're fully exposed...
I honestly would live life as it came with the water. As long as everyone was okay with the sex changes like every hour or so... If I really wanted to stay as a boy after I discovered that being a girl isn't what I would be comfortable with I would stay away from cold water. Hot water is okay with me
