Hearing vs. Telepathy

Discussion in 'Fun and Games' started by SupremeEmperor, Feb 10, 2013.

  1. Would you agree to give up hearing in exchange for telepathy? Why?

No. Unless l could get the sensation of music from it in a roundabout way.

Il would trade my sight for telepathy. But music is almost all l care about and l can't really live without sound.

As long as I could hear telepathically then yeah ...is that cheating?

I can imagine many money making schemes coming from it but also a very quiet world if everybody communicated that way. You may as well give up your voice as well. In fact maybe it should be Voice vs Telepathy

I think I'd keep my hearing. My hearing is really quite acute (possibly because of my terrible eye-vision), and I don't want to give it up.

Think about all the other things you have now that you would have to do without if you didn't have your hearing.

No way! I don't think it would really be worth it for me, because I love music, and I don't really care about what other people think! And if their thoughts are negative they can keep them to themselves.
