She listened quietly as I read my letter through tears, then when all was said and done she just held me as I cried harder than I've ever cried. Once I calmed down a little she said this... "I don't know what to say right now but I can say this, I love you. I'm not going anywhere. We're going to be fine, our family is going to be fine, and we will get through this together." I'm in shock. So much fear just blasted away. I feel like the luckiest girl ever in history right now...and she's taking it so well I feel like a fool for keeping it to myself for so long. Just goes to show, I guess...sometimes the biggest obstacles we have to overcome are entirely in our minds. Love can still win, no matter how messed up you may feel. Love all around!!! -(!)Chloe
Thanks everyone! Today has been amazing...we went shopping and bought my first girl's outfit, shared all new hopes and fears, and laughed about all the signs we both ignored for so long. It's going to be a long road, but we are definitely stepping off on the right foot.
Wow, I was getting ready to cringe at some horrible reaction or some story about suitcases being thrown out the window, but man did she take that well. Good for you guys. She's a keeper and I hope you stay together forever.
